REVIEW: Makeout Bring Feel-Good Vibes With Their 20/20 Winter Tour

On Jan. 11, pop-punk band Makeout kicked off their 20/20 Winter Tour at The Foundry Concert Club in Lakewood, OH.

Support included Taylor Scott, Handguns and Story Untold. Also on the bill was Oh, Weatherly but due to vehicle issues they’re unable to make any dates on this tour.


Pop-punk powerhouse Handguns, showcased incredible confidence as they glide down their set list. The band exudes a hype-factor even if you weren’t familiar with their music. Seeing them on this tour will make you an instant fan within the first song of their set.

Following Handguns came Story Untold, the band hit the stage with a bold aura, each band member has a way of captivating the crowd. The band’s set list included single “Drowned In My Mind” and what appeared to be fan-favorite “Invisible.” The band closed their set with “Delete,” with lustful lyrics and a passionate performance. Story Untold has a fascinating quality that will have you hooked on them.

Finally, came Makeout, the pop-punk band mesmerized the crowd with a lively stage presence. Fans sang-along to songs such as “Ride It Out” as the band carried out their upbeat tone. Makeout created a feel-good atmosphere while playing through songs such as “Lisa” and fast-paced “Where’s My Charger.”

Makeout reminds us that punk is not dead by playing their acoustic track “Secrets,” and closing out their set with “Crazy,” leaving fans with a miraculous feeling that can last you throughout the weekend.
