REVIEW: Reel Big Fish Life Sucks...Let's Dance!

Ska band Reel Big Fish did it again and after six long years they've released out a new record, aptly named Life Sucks...Let's Dance!

The record starts off with the up-tempo title track "Life Sucks...Let's Dance!" accompanied by a powerful brass solo. The song is fueled by relatable lyrics such as "Why can't we all just get along? We're all different notes/but we're in the same song," and "Maybe if we have some fun we won't feel so bad," kicking the album off on a high note.

"You Can't Have All Of Me," slows down the pace for a bit but heavily picks up near the end. As the lead single, it goes into the very real life trials and tribulations of being a working class adult in today's world.

The second single off of the record is "Ska Show," this song has a lot of energy and has the makings of a classic ska track. With the lyrics referencing bringing everyone "downtown to the ska show," it has a very welcoming and inclusive message.

Life Sucks...Let's Dance" is out now with all things considered, the record is 14 tracks of an all around good time.
